How it works
Measure to install.
No gaps.
Three subcontractors means three sets of assumptions. We handle every step so the specification you approve is exactly what gets bolted to your building.
Typical residential timeline
Total: 3–4 weeks from first site visit to final inspection
Site measure
We come to site, take every dimension, note council constraints, and photograph existing conditions. No surprises in fabrication.
Design & documentation
Shop drawings issued for your approval. Council submission packs prepared where required. Finish samples dispatched.
Fabrication
Cut, bent, welded, and powder-coated in our Marrickville workshop. Every weld inspected, every profile measured to ±0.5mm.
Installation
Our own crew installs — no subcontractors. Site left clean. Defects list closed before we leave.
From the people who specify it
Architects. Builders. Homeowners.
"The shop drawings came back in 48 hours with every council dimension already called out. They've clearly done heritage work before — we didn't have to brief them twice."

Brigid Callahan
Architect · Callahan Thorn Architecture, Sydney
"Passed council first submission. The balustrade looks like it was always there — not a bolt-on afterthought. Our neighbours have already asked for the contact."

James Kowalski
Homeowner · Paddington, NSW
"I've used four different fabricators over fifteen years of building. Forge is the only one that measures, draws, builds, and installs without me chasing anyone. That's worth the premium."
